At Fiona Dog Shelter, our mission is to provide homeless dogs, a safe, loving & nurturing environment.
Our Volunteers
We are not alone in this fight. A small group of dedicated young volunteers helps with feeding, rescuing, and caring for the dogs.
They give their time and energy, expecting nothing in return except the joy of seeing a dog heal and find happiness.
Our passionate team of volunteers, staff, and supporters work tirelessly to give each dog the second chance they deserve.
A Day in Our Life
Our daily routine starts early in the morning. First, we check on the dogs in our care, making sure they have food, water, and clean spaces to rest.
The sick and injured ones need medication, wound cleaning, and vet visits. Some days are spent rescuing dogs in need, rushing them to the vet, or working on adoptions to find them loving homes.
Then, we go out to feed the street dogs in different areas, ensuring they have at least one meal a day.
The work never stops, but the wagging tails & grateful eyes make it all worthwhile
